Who I Am

Marrakech is where I work, and where I learned to explain it.

My name is Youssef. I guide visitors through the Marrakech medina — the square, the souks, the Koutoubia, Bahia Palace and the Saadian Tombs — and beyond the city, to the waterfalls and the Atlantic coast, over the Atlas passes and down the Draa Valley to the dunes.

Tours are given in English, French or Italian. The route bends to the people walking it: more time in the souks, a slower pace, three monuments instead of six.

Medina

Half-Day Walking Tours

Morning or afternoon, about four hours on foot.
Beyond

Day Trips & Longer Routes

From a day at the coast to ten days around the country.
Guided On Foot

The medina explained street by street, not read from a sign.

Out of the City

Waterfalls, the Atlantic coast, the Agafay hills and the kasbah road.

Three Languages

Tours given in English, French or Italian.

Booked Directly

You write to the guide himself, and he answers.

How I Work

More than a list of monuments.
A day built around the people on it.

Your Language

English, French or Italian.

Every tour is guided in one of the three languages I speak, so nothing arrives half-translated.

Your Pace

Four hours, your way.

The same route can be six monuments or three, with time to sit down in between.

Your Questions

Answered before you book.

Write with your dates and your questions; the answers come from the guide himself.
